So now John is a radio star.  7.40am on Tuesday 9 September saw John being interviewed by Ross DAVIE and Jillain WHITING of Brisbane's 4BC radio.  From all accounts it didn't go too badly and he didn't stuff it up.  The Rare Old Mountain Dew (from the highly acclaimed debut album; Murphy's Pigs - Live at The Irish Club) got a spin and several listeners have requested the CD.  Yeehaa.  John has now been fined several cartons of beer, by his work colleagues, for his media mentions:- one for getting his photo in the paper, one for being quoted in the paper, and one for the radio interview.  He is going to be broke at Christmas.

Vinnie and John had fun being interviewed by the lovely Robyn IRONSIDE of the Courier Mail Wednesday 3 September.  She said it was the most entertaining interview that she had done in a while.  Derek MOORE came out to Hendra Police Station to take the photos and it wasn't long before he was getting in on the 'fat' jokes at John's expense.  Well the article was published on 8 September.  Cut out and pinned up all over City Police Station with various comments and appendages added (of course).
